GENERAL : If you know that Jean was British squash champion, that the family owned a squash centre in Johannesburg and that Natalie started playing squash before reaching the age of three; then you would hardly be surprised that she has come through as a player herself. She reached the quarter finals of the World Juniors in 1993 and 1995, on both occasions being beaten by New Zealander, Jade Wilson, the 1995 winner. Natalie won the Junior Scottish and British U16 titles as well as the South African Under 19 & 21 National titles 5 times. At 17 years old, she was the youngest player to be selected for the South African senior side in 1994; also representing South Africa in 1998.

That year at the Commonwealth Games she won bronze in both the women's and mixed doubles, partnered by Claire Nitch and Rodney Durbach respectively.

Having spent a few years based at Nottingham Squash Club in England she is now based in USA.

However there are other thoughts to occupy her mind in addition to squash, as she is WISPA President and Board member and coaches the US Junior Women's Team.
